Plant description

Purple Coral is a live Anthurium (Anthurium andreanum) with deep red, long-lasting blooms and glossy, heart-shaped leaves, delivered in a vertical ribbed ceramic pot in a muted purple-coral tone. At approximately 40 cm in height with a 16 cm pot diameter, it’s an easy-to-place flowering houseplant for homes where you want colour and structure without a large footprint.

The plant’s waxy spathes (often called “flowers”) keep their colour for weeks, while the thick foliage stays tidy and upright. Keep the foliage clean by wiping leaves with a soft, damp cloth—dust can dull the natural gloss and reduce light absorption. Water with control: use room-temperature water and avoid letting the inner pot sit in water after watering. During spring and summer, feed lightly with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks to support flowering. As blooms fade, remove spent flower stems close to the base to encourage fresh growth.
