Plant description

Anthurium ‘Zizou’ is a live, flowering indoor plant delivered ready to place in a ribbed white ceramic pot with a glossy glaze. At around 40 cm tall (plant and pot combined) with a 16 cm pot diameter, it’s an easy size for shelves, sideboards and dining tables. The plant’s dense, deep green foliage is paired with purple-pink blooms (the characteristic Anthurium spathes and upright spadices), offering colour that holds for weeks rather than days.

The look is tidy and architectural. ‘Zizou’ grows upright with firm stems and broad, glossy leaves that catch light softly, making it a reliable choice if you want a compact houseplant that stays composed between waterings. • Light requirements: Bright, indirect light. Tolerates medium light, but blooms best near a bright window. Avoid harsh midday sun.

In kitchens, keep it away from direct heat and dry airflow from ovens or radiators.

Care tips

Wipe leaves with a soft, damp cloth to keep them dust-free and reflective. Feed with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer to support flowering. Remove spent blooms at the base of the stem to encourage new growth. Clean the glossy ceramic pot with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed.
