Phalaenopsis orchids are valued for their long flowering period and clean, architectural leaves. Plant care

• Light requirements: Bright, indirect light. A few hours of gentle morning or late-afternoon sun is fine; avoid strong midday sun which can scorch leaves.
• Watering routine: About once a week, or when the visible roots turn light silvery grey. Soak the inner grower pot in water for 10–15 minutes, then let it drain fully before placing it back in the sleeve or decorative pot. Never leave standing water around the roots.
• Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity (around 40–60%). Keep away from very dry heat sources; occasional misting around the plant (not directly into the flowers) can help in winter.
• Temperature range: Comfortable indoor temperatures, ideally 17–22°C. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature drops near doors or open windows.
