• Light requirements: Bright, indirect light is ideal. They tolerate medium light, but growth will slow. Avoid strong midday sun on the leaves, especially for variegated ‘Twilight’.
• Watering routine: Keep the soil lightly moist, but never waterlogged. Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter.
• Humidity preferences: Average indoor humidity is fine. Slightly higher humidity helps keep leaf edges neat; occasional misting or a nearby humidity source can be beneficial.
• Temperature range: 18–26°C. Protect from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.

Ficus plants appreciate consistency. Turn each pot a little every week or two to keep growth balanced. Feed with a standard houseplant fertiliser once a month during spring and summer; in winter, feed every two months or pause if growth stops. Wipe leaves with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust—this supports photosynthesis and keeps the foliage looking clean. If a few leaves drop after delivery or a move, give the plant time; it often settles once conditions stay stable.
