Plant description

This indoor plant set combines three Ficus varieties—Ficus benjamina ‘Danielle’, Ficus benjamina ‘Twilight’ (variegated foliage), and Ficus microcarpa ‘Moclame’—each delivered at an approximate height of 95 cm in a Ø21 cm grow pot. The plants are paired with the natural Selin basket, giving the group a calm, grounded look that suits Scandinavian interiors while adding real greenery.

Visually, the mix is balanced: ‘Danielle’ brings fine, arching leaves in deep green; ‘Twilight’ adds a soft, patterned contrast with cream-edged leaves; and ‘Moclame’ is fuller and more upright with thicker, rounded foliage. Together they create variation without looking busy—ideal if you want a cohesive plant corner rather than a collection of unrelated plants.

Ficus are valued as long-lived houseplants with strong structure. With stable placement and consistent care, they keep their shape well and become more characterful over time. Like many ficus, they respond best to routine—avoiding sudden changes in light, temperature, or watering.

Plant care

• Light requirements: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Tolerates medium light, but growth will slow. Avoid harsh, direct midday sun which can stress or scorch leaves (especially variegated ‘Twilight’).
• Watering routine: Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil feels dry. Water thoroughly, then allow excess to drain. Do not let the pot sit in water. In winter, water less often.
• Humidity preferences: Prefers moderate humidity. Normal indoor humidity is usually fine; occasional misting or wiping leaves helps in dry homes.
• Temperature range: Best between 18–26°C. Protect from cold drafts, hot radiators, and temperatures below ~15°C.

If you want even growth, rotate each plant a quarter turn every couple of weeks.

Care tips

Ficus appreciate consistency. If leaves drop after moving, give the plant time—this is often a response to change rather than poor health. Feed with a balanced houseplant fertiliser monthly in spring and summer; reduce to every 6–8 weeks in winter. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and help the plant photosynthesise efficiently.
