Plant description
This ready-made orchid arrangement combines three white Phalaenopsis (moth) orchids with three Rhipsalis green plants, planted in a ribbed white ceramic Diabolo dish with an integrated water reservoir and insert. At approximately 35 cm in height, it’s designed as a low, stable centrepiece for tables, sideboards, and kitchen islands—fresh greenery and long-lasting blooms in one contained bowl.
The look is calm and structured: arching orchid stems with pale buds and flowers rise above glossy, deep-green leaves, while the Rhipsalis adds a soft, textural layer at the base. The ceramic bowl has a clean silhouette with subtle vertical lines and a raised foot, keeping the arrangement visually light while protecting surfaces.
A built-in watering system supports more even moisture. Each orchid is supplied via a water wick, drawing water from the reservoir so you don’t need to lift plants out of the dish as often. Because this is a living product, the exact shape and bloom stage may vary slightly from the photo.

- Light requirements: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid harsh midday sun; gentle morning or late-afternoon sun is fine.
- Watering routine: Keep the reservoir lightly filled and let the wicks do the work. Top up when the level drops, and avoid constant overfilling. In cooler months, the plants typically need less. If the bowl has no visible indicator, check weekly and refill modestly.
- Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity suits both orchids and Rhipsalis. Normal indoor levels are usually fine; drier homes benefit from occasional misting around (not into) the orchid flowers.
- Temperature range: 18–26°C, away from cold drafts, radiators, and direct heat sources.

Remove faded orchid flowers by trimming the stem above a node if you want to encourage a new spike, or cut the stem lower once flowering is finished. For Rhipsalis, allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between moisture cycles; it prefers even, light moisture rather than being constantly saturated.
