Plant description
This is a combi deal of two orange Phalaenopsis orchids (Bolzano), delivered in a Ø9 cm grower’s pot. Each plant is a flowering indoor orchid with a compact footprint and an elegant, upright form—well suited to shelves, sideboards and window-adjacent surfaces where you want colour without visual clutter. At delivery, the set is approximately 35 cm tall, and each orchid typically carries 2–3 sturdy flower spikes (depending on the natural stage of growth).
The flowers have a warm orange tone with a deeper centre, set on dark, arching stems above glossy, strap-shaped green leaves. Plant care
- Light requirements: Bright, indirect light. A position near an east or north-facing window is ideal. Avoid strong midday sun, which can mark the leaves and fade flowers.
- Watering routine: Water about once a week. The most dependable method is to immerse the inner pot in lukewarm water for 10–15 minutes, then let it drain thoroughly before returning it to a decorative pot. Water less in winter; never leave roots standing in water.
- Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity suits Phalaenopsis well. If your home is very dry (common in heated rooms), place the pot on a pebble tray with water or group plants together.

Wipe leaves with a soft, damp cloth to keep them dust-free and able to photosynthesise efficiently. When flowering slows, remove spent blooms; if the spike stays green, you can trim above a node to encourage a secondary bloom, or cut the spike lower once it browns to support the next growth cycle.
