Kolibri Orchids | Gift Set Mother’s Day Big is a curated indoor plant set combining a pink Phalaenopsis orchid with two compact green plants, presented in soft pink decorative pots on a round bamboo tray. The set is designed for easy placement on a dining table, sideboard or coffee table, with a small wooden riser adding height and balance. Approximate height of the orchid at delivery is 35 cm.
The orchid has broad, glossy green leaves and flowering stems with pale pink blooms and a warmer, yellow-toned centre. The accompanying plants are succulent types (as pictured): one with stacked, striped, pointed leaves (Haworthia-style) and one with a compact rosette form. Together they create a calm mix of flower and foliage that stays tidy indoors and suits minimalist interiors.
Please note that the orchid is supplied with 2 or 3 flower spikes depending on current availability, and as with all living products there may be natural variation in bloom density and the exact green plant varieties (especially in the smaller 6–9 cm sizes).
Plant care
- Light requirements: Bright, indirect light. The Phalaenopsis prefers filtered daylight; the succulents tolerate brighter positions and can take gentle morning or evening sun. Avoid strong midday sun through glass.
- Watering routine: Orchid: water sparingly when the potting medium feels almost dry (typically every 7–10 days), letting excess water drain fully. Succulents: water only when the soil has dried out completely; less is better than more.
- Humidity preferences: Moderate indoor humidity (around 40–60%) is suitable. Avoid placing the orchid right above radiators; succulents are comfortable in normal, drier rooms.
- Temperature range: Best kept at typical indoor temperatures, 18–26°C. Protect from cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C.

If you place the set close to a window, position it slightly back from the glass to avoid hot sun and cold night temperatures. The bamboo tray helps keep the arrangement together and protects surfaces from moisture marks.
Care tips
Keep water out of the orchid’s leaf crown (the centre where leaves meet) to reduce the risk of rot. For the succulents, use a light hand with watering and ensure they are not sitting in pooled water. Remove spent orchid flowers as they fade; if the spike stays green, it can rebloom from a node. Wipe leaves occasionally with a dry cloth to keep them dust-free and glossy.
