This combi deal includes two white Phalaenopsis orchids (moth orchids), delivered in a Ø12 cm pot size. Each plant arrives in bloom with clean white flowers and fresh green leaves, giving you a calm, structured look that suits Scandinavian interiors. Phalaenopsis is chosen for one simple reason: it is one of the most reliable flowering houseplants for the home. The flowers open gradually along the arching stems, so the display stays balanced and presentable for weeks. The white blooms are complemented by a soft yellow centre, and the thick, oval leaves at the base store moisture and help the plant cope well with normal indoor conditions.
Plant care
- Light requirements: Bright, indirect light. A few hours of gentle morning or evening sun is fine; avoid strong midday sun which can mark the leaves.
- Watering routine: Water approximately every 7–10 days. Let excess water drain fully. The safest method is to soak the inner pot for 10–15 minutes, then drain before placing it back.
- Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity (around 40–60%). Keep away from dry heat sources; occasional misting around the plant (not into the flowers) can help in winter.

Avoid “wet feet”: Phalaenopsis roots need air. Always drain thoroughly and never leave water in an outer cachepot. If the plant sits in a decorative pot cover, ensure there is no standing water at the bottom.
After flowering: When the last blooms drop, you can keep the green flower spike to encourage a possible re-bloom, or cut it back above a node if it starts to dry. Feed lightly with orchid fertiliser once a month during active growth.
