Phalaenopsis, Crassula Plant Set – White

Regular price €34,99

Plant description

This set pairs a white Phalaenopsis orchid ‘Amabilis’ with a Crassula ovata ‘Hobbit’ succulent, each placed in a blue-and-white Painted Stripe ceramic pot. The look is crisp and graphic: tall, arching orchid stems with clean white flowers, alongside the compact, sculptural succulent with tubular green leaves. The orchid arrives at an approximate height of 35 cm, in a Ø9 cm pot; the succulent comes in a Ø6 cm pot.

The orchid is delivered with 2 or 3 sturdy flowering stems, depending on current availability. As with all live plants, the number of buds and open flowers can vary slightly from the photo. The Crassula is a living plant as well and may differ subtly in shape due to natural growth.

The ceramic pots have a hand-painted stripe finish with a glossy surface that is easy to wipe clean—useful for everyday placement on shelves, windowsills, and side tables.

Plant care

  • Light requirements: Phalaenopsis prefers bright, indirect light (an east or north-facing window is ideal). Crassula ‘Hobbit’ thrives in very bright light and can take some gentle direct sun.
  • Watering routine: Orchid: water sparingly when the potting medium is almost dry; avoid leaving water in the decorative pot or saucer. Succulent: let the soil dry out fully, then water thoroughly and allow excess to drain.
  • Humidity preferences: Orchid: moderate humidity (around 40–60%) is suitable; avoid placing next to a radiator. Succulent: normal indoor humidity is fine.
  • Temperature range: Both plants do well in typical indoor temperatures of 18–26°C. Keep the orchid away from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

Growth and characteristics

  • Plant species: Phalaenopsis ‘Amabilis’ (moth orchid) and Crassula ovata ‘Hobbit’
  • Approximate size at delivery: Orchid approx. 35 cm tall; succulent in Ø6 cm pot
  • Flower / leaf type: White orchid blooms on arching stems; succulent with tubular, finger-like leaves
  • Growth speed: Orchid grows slowly and reblooms in cycles; Crassula is slow to moderate and forms a denser plant over time in strong light

Placement in the home

Place the orchid where it gets steady daylight without harsh midday sun—on a dining table, a hallway console with natural light, or a bright shelf. The Crassula is well suited to the sunniest spot in the room, such as a south or west-facing windowsill. Together, the two pots work well as a small grouped arrangement: one tall and airy, one low and structured—easy to style in calm, modern interiors.

Care tips

For the orchid, keep water out of the leaf crown and remove any standing water after watering to protect the roots. If you want to encourage reblooming, keep the plant in bright light and maintain an even routine. For the succulent, avoid frequent small watering—dry intervals help keep the growth compact. Rotate both plants occasionally for even growth and wipe the leaves with a soft cloth if dust builds up.
