Plant description
This ready-made orchid and green plant arrangement combines three white Phalaenopsis (amabilis) orchids (9 cm pots) with three Rhipsalis plants (6 cm pots), set in a woven reed basket with an integrated water reservoir and wick system. The basket’s natural reed texture keeps the look light and understated, while the white orchid blooms bring a clean contrast to the deep green leaves and the finer, cactus-like structure of Rhipsalis. - Watering routine: Keep the reservoir topped up as needed and let the wick do the work. As a guideline, check the water level weekly and refill when low. Avoid overfilling so roots never stand in water. Orchids prefer their roots to dry slightly between waterings.
- Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity (typical indoor levels). If air is very dry, place away from radiators and consider light misting around (not directly into the flowers).
- Temperature range: 18–26°C. Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

Remove spent blooms by trimming the flower spike above a visible node if you want to encourage a possible re-bloom, or cut the spike down when it has fully finished. Wipe leaves with a soft, damp cloth to keep them dust-free and to support healthy photosynthesis. If the basket is placed on a delicate surface, use a protective mat underneath.
