Strelitzia Nicolai, Monstera Deliciosa Set – Green

This indoor plant set combines Strelitzia nicolai (White Bird of Paradise) and Monstera deliciosa, delivered in the natural woven Selin basket. With their bold leaf shapes and clear green tone, the two plants create an easy, balanced mix: upright height from the Strelitzia (Ø19 cm, approx. 85 cm tall) and broad, cut leaves from the Monstera (Ø21 cm, approx. 75 cm tall). The baskets add a calm, tactile finish that works well in Scandinavian interiors.

The Strelitzia nicolai grows with long, paddle-like leaves held on firm stems. Over time it becomes more architectural and taller, making it a good choice when you want greenery with vertical presence. The Monstera deliciosa brings softer volume: heart-shaped leaves that develop natural splits as the plant matures. Together, they give you variety in shape without looking busy.

The Selin basket is a practical styling layer. Use it as a decorative cover around the nursery pot and keep water away from the fibres. If you prefer to water in place, place a waterproof inner liner or saucer inside the basket first.

• Light requirements: Bright, indirect light is ideal for both plants. They tolerate medium light, but growth will slow. Avoid harsh midday sun on the leaves.
• Watering routine: Water when the top 2–4 cm of soil feels dry. In practice this is often weekly, less in winter. Strelitzia likes slightly more consistent moisture than Monstera, but neither should sit in water.
• Humidity preferences: Moderate humidity is fine. For best leaf condition, aim for slightly higher humidity and keep plants away from dry heat sources.
• Temperature range: Typical indoor temperatures of 18–26°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below ~15°C.
